Why might my verified return differ from my exchange?
NakedPnL uses Time-Weighted Return (TWR), which isolates investment skill from deposit/withdrawal timing. Most exchanges show simple P&L or money-weighted returns. Additionally, snapshot timing differences may cause minor variances.
Can I manipulate my verified return?
All data is sourced directly from exchange APIs via read-only connections. Each snapshot is hashed and chain-linked. Deposits and withdrawals are excluded from return calculations. No system is infallible, but manipulation is extremely difficult.
Is this the same as a financial audit?
No. NakedPnL verification is a team-reviewed process, not an independent audit by a licensed accounting firm. We verify data source authenticity, hash chain integrity, and performance calculations.
